AMS pods are built in-house by Richard since 2003. A pair starts at $649, chrome or gloss, crash-bar bracket and screws included, about three weeks built to order. They sit at an angle on the crash bar. Hertz Neo is the speaker we put in the pods — small neo magnet, weatherproof, clear when it is loud. We do not invent other public prices or Hertz model numbers.

Street Glide and Road Glide take fairing-amp discipline. A tank pull for power. No shortcut on the tank. The factory radio is often the bottleneck. Diamond Audio Harley radios are in the shop, plus Sony and Soundstream. Nick writes that number after he sees the bike. Year and radio first.

Road King has no fairing. The pods talk. The amp lives in a bag on a carpeted board with an AMS quick disconnect. That is the King path — not a Glide fairing job copied onto a bike that has no batwing.

Bags work as a bass enclosure when the lids are cut — concave drilling, carpeted spacers, inverted speakers, soldered QDCs, lock ties. Weatherproof Hertz Neo for LA drizzle and the ride in from Reseda. A Reseda hop does not get another city’s weather paragraph swapped in.
