City of Industry is 27.2 miles from the Avalon pin. Valley Boulevard or Gale Avenue toward the 60 west, then the 605 and 710 toward Avalon. Forty to fifty minutes on a bagger. The alternate is Azusa Avenue south to the 60 west. The 60 carries serious freight and on a bike that is a genuinely unpleasant place to sit, so go early. Ride in or trailer in. Maps pin 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A, CA 90745.
Industry is a place people ride through rather than from, but the riders who work here have Turnbull Canyon and the Puente Hills a few minutes south and the 60 for everything else. That is a good combination and an awkward one: short, excellent canyon roads reached by a stretch of one of the busiest freight freeways in the region. Most rides out of here start unpleasant and get very good, which is exactly the spread a stock fairing system handles worst.
AMS Pods start at $649 a pair. Chrome or gloss, crash-bar bracket and screws included, built to order in-house, about three weeks. Nothing gets invented beyond $649 a pair. A full bagger build is usually up to about ten business days, confirmed in person once the bike has been seen.
Richard makes them in Carson, in-house since 2003. Hertz Neo goes inside — small neodymium magnet, weatherproof, clear at volume. Street Glide and Road Glide take a fairing amplifier and a tank pull so nothing runs along the frame. On a Road King the pods carry the job and the amplifier sits in a bag on a carpeted board with an AMS quick disconnect. Soldered terminations throughout, which matters on a bike that sees both freight-freeway vibration and canyon roads.
Street Glide, Road Glide and Road King. Bring the bike rather than photographs — the Glides have different fairing plans and the year matters on both. Harley radios in the shop are Diamond Audio, plus Sony and Soundstream. At forty-plus minutes each way it is worth calling ahead so the visit is planned rather than exploratory.
The 60 and Turnbull Canyon are opposite acoustic environments and riders often try to optimise for one. On the 60 the noise is constant and broadband; on Turnbull it is variable and gusty. Pods handle both without a compromise because the fix is positional rather than tonal — get the source close and aim it at the rider, and the system works in whichever condition you happen to be in. A useful way to think about it is that tonal adjustments only redistribute what arrives at your helmet, while a positional change increases how much arrives in the first place. Only one of those two has any headroom left once you are on the 60 at speed.
Audio that survives the 60 and is still right when you turn onto Turnbull ten minutes later. Nothing that works loose from freight-freeway vibration or canyon movement. Weatherproof pods. Bags that still come off in seconds. And a build that was specified in one conversation.
Valley or Gale to the 60 west, then the 605 and 710 — 27.2 miles, forty to fifty minutes, go early. AMS Pods from $649 a pair, about three weeks built to order. Hertz Neo inside. Soldered terminations throughout.
Worth combining at this distance. Car audio is LA Car Beats at lacarbeats.com — microphone placement first in a fleet cab. Window tint is LA Car Tint at lacartint.com — 3M Authorized Dealer, and an unshaded employee lot for nine hours makes that case. Vehicle security is LA Car Alarm at lacaralarm.com — a city that empties after six.
Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Sunday closed. Pods are about three weeks built to order, so ring ahead at this distance rather than riding down on spec. A Payment Plan is at the counter once the bike is quoted. Google shows 4.8 from 654 reviews.
If your rides out of Industry start on the 60 and end on Turnbull, you need a system that does not have to be optimised for either. Call or text (310) 513-8800 and ask for Nick. 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A, CA 90745.

No. There is no Industry motorcycle storefront. AMS Pods is the Harley bagger-audio side of Audio MotorSports at 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A, CA 90745 — 27.2 miles away.
Yes, because the fix is positional rather than tonal. Get the source close and aim it at the rider and the system works in whichever condition you are in.
Pods start at $649 a pair — chrome or gloss, bracket and screws included, built to order in-house, about three weeks.
Street Glide, Road Glide and Road King. Those three only on these pages.
Early. The 60 carries serious freight and on a bike it is a genuinely unpleasant place to sit once it fills.
Not with soldered terminations, which is standard here. That matters on a bike seeing both the 60 and canyon roads.
Yes, both take a fairing amplifier and a tank pull so nothing runs visibly along the frame.
No fairing, so the pods carry the whole job and the amplifier sits in a bag on a carpeted board with an AMS quick disconnect.
Yes. A Payment Plan is available at the counter after the bike is quoted. Payment Plan is the only name for it.
Ask what it sounds like in the worse of the two conditions at a setting you would accept in the better one. A system that needs a different setting for each is not solving the problem, it is postponing it.
Car audio, window tint, and vehicle security — plus Harley bagger audio on the AMS Pods side. Body work, wraps, paint protection film, and auto glass are other trades; we'll point you to someone good rather than guess.
